Our doors are made to the highest standards and naturally meet or exceed all relevant British Standards. Reale Residential Door extrusions are suitable for both non-thermal and thermally improved applications. The can be installed into new buildings and refurbishments, into timber subframes or directly to brickwork.
ConstructionReale Residential Doors are constructed using mitred and mechanical corners for the outer frame, supported by corner cleats and stainless steel chevrons. The inner leaf is square cut and mechanically joined with cleat and bolts for extra strength. All joints are sealed to protect against water ingress. A range of ancillary profiles are available for side screens and bay window applications, particularly useful in the corner of porches and conservatories. GlazingReale Residential Doors are securely glazed with 'shuffle in' internal glazing beads, with synthetic rubber glazing gaskets. Glazing may be achieved using the wrap around channel gaskets, or shuffle glazed using captivated gasket secured with an internal wedge gasket. The Reale Residential Door System can accommodate up to 28mm insulating double glazing which should conform to BS 6262. SecurityReale Residential Doors are designed to withstand forced entry. Yale three-point deadlocks are a standard feature of the Reale Residential Door. Hook bolts top and bottom with traditional latch and deadlock at the centre and security hinges, all contribute to the security of the Reale Residential Door. Additional security may be achieved with additional shoot bolts at the head and cill. HardwareReale Residential Doors come with three 5-knuckle hinges as standard. Additional options of midrails which can accept a letterbox, and a range of handles for front or back door applications are also available. VentilationReale Residential Doors have been designed to accept a range of security tickle ventilators to comply with 1995 standard Building Regulations (Part F) requirements for background ventilation. MaterialsReale Residential Doors are manufactured from the highest quality materials. Extruded aluminium is Aluminium Alloy 6063 T6 to BS 1474 : 1987 (1991). Full gloss white (RAL9910) available as standard. All other colours available on request. Anodising Natural (Silver) and Anolok Bronze BS 3987: 1991 to a minimum of 25 microns (AA25) available on request. Gasketry is manufactured in accordance with BS 3734 and BS 7412 cat A.
